O how thankful we should be that we have the blessed Promise of the Father. The Holy Spirit is our Guide: Comforter, Helper, Advocate, Counselor–they all fit His function. He is there to whisper which way we should go. We have the road map of God’s Word in front of us and the Spirit then points the way. But we have to look at the “roadmap” and listen to His quiet voice. Then, we step and walk with confidence.
“Whatever awaits us is encountered first by Him–each difficulty and complication; each wild beast or wilder robber; each yawning chasm or precipitous path.
